Last week I heard a teacher (not from my school!) say, "I just got my new SmartBoard! I love it so much that my kids will have to fight me to ever get to use it." She wasn't kidding.
And therein lies one of the pitfalls of interactive whiteboards (or any technology) in the hands of a teacher who fails to understand the importance of a student-centered classroom.
